How we got started...

In 2006, Denis Ekobena became a student of FIRE School of Ministry, Charlotte, NC USA founded by Dr. Michael Brown. After graduating from FIRE School USA, Denis and his wife Arit sense the call of God to return to their home country Cameroon to plant FIRE School under the leadership of FIRE International. Denis and Arit Ekobena were part of the Christ for All Nations (CFaN) team that came to Cameroon to do a Bonnke Crusade after 19 years of absence. The Crusade was held in December 2013 in Yaoundé… with over 100,000 in attendance every night. Daniel Kolenda who is the president of CFaN will invite Denis on stage each night before he preached to talk about the school. This was an opportunity to introduce FIRE. Following this crusade, about 500 people showed interest, but after examining the applications, FIRE school Cameroon school started with about 60 students.Officially FBI opened it doors on March 31st , 2014 at Etoi-Meki neighborhood.
